98.9 "Breakfast Buzz with Kimberly and Beck" Radio Show Hosts Make Fun of Man Beaten by Rochester, NY Police

By Davy V.
Mark Schroth
beaten by Rochester, NY Police.

Most people wouldn't find the photo to the right funny.

But Rochester, NY's 98.9 The Buzz radio show hosts Kimberly and Beck do.

It's a photo of Mark Schroth.

That's not how Schroth looked when he went to a popular bar on Rochester, NY's Monroe Avenue,  Saturday night, but it's how he looked after he was beaten by Rochester Police.

Wednesday morning, Kimberly and Beck, well known for their racist rhetoric, and hurtful, insensitive behavior, including once making fun of an African-American grieving mother whose teen age son was run over and killed by a Rochester Police cruiser, had a field day with the horrible beating that Schroth suffered.

According to reports, Rochester Police were responding to a crowd outside of O'Callaghan's Pub, when a Rochester Police officer told Schroth, who witnesses said was doing nothing wrong, to move.

Witnesses say that when Schroth told Rochester Police that he had a right to stand where he was standing, that's when at least one Rochester Police officer snapped, and began beating Schroth.
Kimberly and Beck
from Rochester, NY's 98.9
"Breakfast Buzz with Kimberly and Beck" radio show.

"Mark did not deserve this, he didn't do anything wrong, nothing at at all", said a witness who did not want to be identified for fear of retaliation from Rochester Police officers.

After several more RPD officers arrived on the scene, the beating continued.

At that point, officers also began beating and pepper-spraying, innocent bystanders.

One of those bystanders, a young woman, unable to see from being pepper-sprayed was assisted by a friend, who walked her over to a Rochester Police officer who was close by.

The young woman then asked the RPD officer for help.

The officer responded to her, "I'm not going to help
you with that attitude."

On their "Breakfast Buzz with Kimberly and Beck" morning radio show, not only did Kimberly make fun of the beating Schroth received, but equally disgusting, she went as far as condoning police brutality.

"Douchebag guy opened his mouth to the wrong guy and got batoned upside the head", the radio show host said.

Then, in a classic example of adding insult to injury (no pun intended), Kimberly says, "You're not going to get any kind of sympathy here on this show."

Former Rochester, NY Police Chief Cedric Alexander Will Have his Work Cut Out for him When it Comes to Leading an Out of Control Police Force that Does Not Care about the Mentally-Ill

By Davy Vara
Cedric Alexander
With the talk of the town in Rochester, NY being about whether or not former interim Rochester Police Chief Cedric Alexander, who lead the RPD for 9 months in 2005, will return to serve as Chief under Mayor-Elect Lovely Warren's new administration, I thought it would be a good opportunity to remind my fellow short-term memory Rochesterians, of Alexander's failed tenure as Chief.
In a 2005 write-up on a site called The National Psychologist, former Rochester, NY Police Chief Cedric Alexander is lauded as a hero of sorts for his creation of the Emotionally Disturbed Persons Response Team (EDPRT), a team of officers "specially trained to deal with emotionally unstable and mentally-ill individuals."
“As much as 80 percent of the calls we go to in this city, even across America, has a mental health component attached to it, anything from domestic abuse to somebody who’s feeling distress. It became important to me to look at a list of mental health issues police officers are not really trained to do," Alexander explains.
“When you have officers who have a little better insight to these issues it allows them to do their job a little better, which results in less injuries to both officers and people,” said Alexander, described in the article as a "self-effacing man who tends to shy away from taking praise for the program’s success."
“What I wanted to accomplish,” said Alexander, “was to help officers to be more broadly trained to cope with the challenges they have on the street and to help people.”
One Rochester Police Sgt., Eric Weaver, the EDPRT Commander described the program this way.
“Amazing."
"What we’ve accomplished over the last two years is tremendous. And how this community has come together in working with law enforcement is something I haven’t seen in the 20 years I’ve been on the force.”
Weaver added that under Alexander's leadership, he sees the "EDRPT as much more than a team of officers that respond out to individuals who are suicidal or mentally ill.
"We have successfully taken people to hospitals and mental health facilities for care and treatment. And we follow-up. That’s phenomenal.”
When RPD Sgt. Eric Weaver was asked if incidents of police and public injuries were down, Weaver responded, "Absolutely", adding, "This is a result of the chief’s program.
Rochester Police Sgt. Eric Weaver added, “In school what we address more than anything is stigma awareness. We spend a tremendous amount of time dispelling stigma myths, stereotypes of mental illness, what they are and what they really mean.
“We try to break down walls and barriers that people and society have concerning mental health. We try to change the perception of officers in what mental health is and what it’s all about.”

Really Sgt. Weaver?
Some in the Rochester community, such as myself, strongly disagree.

In fact, Rochester, NY Police officers have clearly shown that they do not care about individuals with suffering from mental illness.

And I have a different take not only on the Rochester Police department's EDRPT, but also on Cedric Alexander, the man who Rochester Mayor-Elect Lovely Warren says is her top choice for Rochester Police Chief.
Enter Lashedica Mason.
On July 10, 2005, 13-year old LaShedica was suicidal, when she locked herself up in the bathroom of her home on St. Jacob Street on Rochester’s eastside.
Her relatives called 911 for assistance.
Rochester, NY Police Sgt. Mark Simmons,
shot 13-year old LaShedica Mason, who was suicidal.
Minutes later, Rochester Police officer Mark Simmons entered the home and as soon as he saw Mason holding a knife, he shot the 13 year old girl three times, including once in her abdomen.

Simply put, Rochester Police officer Mark Simmons
tried to kill a suicidal teen.
As a result of her injuries, LaShedica’s gall bladder, as well as several feet of her intestines had to be removed during surgery.
Ironically, just days before the shooting, acting Rochester Police Chief Cedric Alexander had announced the creation of the Rochester Police Department’s Emotionally Disturbed Persons Response Team (EDPRT).
The team, hailed as a being "specially trained to deal with despondent, suicidal, and emotionally unstable individuals", in situations such as LaShedica's, NEVER RESPONDED.
The result?
A suicidal teen was shot by a trigger-happy cop, who almost killed her.
Not long after trying to kill LaShedica, Rochester, NY Police officer Simmons was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.
Sure, some Rochester Police cheerleaders will argue that Mason's incident was isolated, and that the RPD really values the EDRPT program, and that officers care about the mentally ill.
But despite the illusion that the Rochester, NY Police department wants the community to believe when it comes to their claim of being sympathetic towards individuals with mental health illness, as an activist exposing the Rochester Police department' long history of misconduct and corruption, I have found the opposite.
Enter "Chucky."
While on patrol on Rochester's west side, Rochester, NY Police officer Antonio Gonzalez came across a mentally-ill man, dressed in a martial arts uniform on Jefferson Avenue.

Instead of getting the man some help, Rochester Police officer Antonio Gonzalez he would record the man on video, while he and his fellow RPD officers laughed and sang the song 'Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting'.'

Gonzalez then posted the video on the Internet and titled it 'Name that Crackhead.'

Once online, Gonzalez and RPD officers Josue Traverzo and Luis Hernandez, commented on the video, continuing to ridicule the man and even listing the numerical address on Jefferson Ave. where the man could be found.

THE ELDERLY AND DISABLED ARE ALSO RIDICULED.
Photo Rochester, NY Police officer Nelson Soto took
of two elderly citizens in cold winter.
Soto later posted the photo on social media with the caption:
"4 Wheel Drive Wheelchairs."
Another Rochester Police officer who has shown the culture that exists within the Rochester, NY Police department when it comes to dealing with the mentally-ill
and the disabled, is RPD Sgt. Nelson Soto.
While on patrol, on a cold winter day, Sgt. Soto decided it would be funny to take a photo from within his warm police  cruiser, of two elderly, disabled individuals on motorized scooters trying to navigate snow covered streets.
Sgt. Soto then posted the photo on social media with the caption  "4 Wheel Drive Wheelchairs."
So the question is, can Cedric Alexander, a PhD with a doctorate in psychology, clean house and straighten out the Rochester, NY Police department, a police force with a long history of misconduct, corruption, and a lack of caring about individuals with mental health issues?
Can Alexander ensure that the EDPRT which he created is actually used by Rochester Police officers, before they open fire and execute mentally-ill individuals like Izzy Andino?

Can Alexander stop the racist culture which exists in the Rochester, NY Police department, where officers racially-profile, then arrest young African-American students waiting for a school bus?

Can Alexander stop over zealous cops who abuse their power by beating a one-legged amputee, after picking him up off his motorized wheelchair and slamming him to the concrete sidewalk, then beating him, because he too was also waiting for a bus?

Can Alexander be the Chief that James Sheppard was not?

I read that as Chief in DeKalb County, Georgia, Cedric Alexander has helped restore the image of a police force plagued with misconduct and corruption, including a recent incident where one of his officers, Brandon Brown was caught on video trying to shake down a citizen for a $50.00 bribe, after he caught the woman smoking marijuana.

Officer Brown later resigned. (SEE VIDEO BELOW).

Will Cedric Alexander do the same in Rochester, NY?

Can and will Alexander clean house, and turn around the corrupt Rochester, NY Police department?

One thing is for sure, he's got his work cut out for him.

Despite Its History of Civil Rights Leaders Like Frederick Douglass and Susan B. Anthony, Rochester, NY Continues to be Known as a City Where Police Violate Citizens' Rights (Updated)

Teens arrested by Rochester Police officer
while waiting for bus.
By Davy V.

Updated Tuesday December 13, 2003 10:00 A.M.

Once again, just when I think the Rochester, NY Police department can't get any worse when it comes to violating innocent citizens' civil rights, they prove me wrong.
On Wednesday morning, November 27th, Edison High School students Raliek Reid, and Daequon Carelock, both 16, along with 17-year old Wan'Tauhjs Weathers, all three star players on the Edison Inventors basketball team, were waiting for a schoolbus in downtown Rochester, heading to a game.
They never made it.
That's because an over zealous Rochester Police officer arrested the teens.
For what?
For WWB.
Waiting While Black.
Or is it STB?
Standing While Black.
Of course, the Rochester, NY Police department, who has a long history of misconduct and corruption including several high profile controversial arrest videos in just the last couple of years alone, including the arrest of Emily Good, by Rochester Police officer Mario Masic, after Good recorded Masic conducting a racially profiled traffic stop of an African-American motorist, would never admit that their officers are trained to profile African-American citizens for WWB or SWB.
Instead they come up with a b.s. excuse like saying that the three young men were obstructing the flow of pedestrian traffic.
Even though they were standing on a public sidewalk.
Waiting for a bus.
Benny Warr
One-legged amputee
beaten by Rochester Police officers
while waiting for bus.
Reminds me of Benny Warr.
A disabled, African-American, one-legged amputee, who was also waiting for a bus when Rochester, NY Police officers Anthony Liberatore, Joseph Ferrigno, and Mitchell Stewart II pepper sprayed and beat him.
All because according to the officers, Warr ignored their commands to move from the sidewalk.
A public sidewalk.
As in Warr's case, the Rochester, NY Police officer who arrested the teens, claimed that they ignored his order to disperse.
From a public sidewalk.
When the teens tried to explain to the RPD officer that they weren't  loitering, but instead waiting for a bus, the RPD officer arrested them.
"We didn't do nothing," said Raliek Reid.
"We was just trying to go to our scrimmage."
Intetestingly, the Rochester Police report makes no mention of any obscene or foul language or any other sort of disorderly conduct.
"We was just waiting for our bus and he started arresting us," said Wan'Tauhjs Weathers.
According to the teens' coach, Jacob Scott, when he asked the RPD officer to let the teens go, the Rochester Police officer threatened him with arrest.
"He goes on to say, 'If you don't disperse, you're going to get booked as well,'" said Scott.
Scott, who is also employed by the Rochester City School District as a guidance counselor, adds, "I said, 'Sir, I'm the adult. I'm their varsity basketball coach. How can you book me? What am I doing wrong? Matter of fact, what are these guys doing wrong?'"
The Edison basketball coach says the incident was not only traumatic for the players who got arrested, but also for others who witnessed it.
"It's a catastrophe," said Coach Scott.
"These young men were doing nothing wrong, nothing wrong."
"They did exactly what they were supposed to do and still they get arrested. I'm speaking to the officers with dignity ... and still and yet, they see me get treated like nothing."
The players' families had to post $200 bail in order to get their children out of jail for Thanksgiving.
"They are not bad kids," said Crystal Chapman, one of the teens mother.
"They are awesome boys."
And to think, disgusting incidents like this, committed by those who take an oath to protect and serve, and instead abuse that oath by abusing and violating innocent students doing nothing wrong, is happening in a city with a rich history of civil rights leaders such as Frederick Douglass and Susan B. Anthony, who are both buried in Mount Hope Cemetery, just minutes away from downtown Rochester.
I wonder what Douglass and Anthony would say.
Shame on the Rochester, NY Police department.
Shame on Rochester, NY.

UPDATE:

Charges against the three teens have been dropped.

A statement released Tuesday morning by Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley reads:

"After reviewing the facts associated with these arrests, we have decided to dismiss the charges in the interest of justice."

Rochester, NY Police Chief James Sheppard; A Coward who Lacked Leadership Skills, Even at the End

By Davy V.
A disgraced Chief, James Sheppard chokes back tears,
during Wednesday press conference.

On Wednesday afternoon, Rochester, NY Police Chief James Sheppard, announced his retirement.

Officially this time.

You see, in October, Sheppard turned in his retirement papers.

Then, after changing his mind, withdrew them.

"I didn't want people to think that my turning in my retirement papers had anything to do with the election", Sheppard told Rochester news media Wednesday afternoon, at a press conference held at the Public Safety building.

"So, I withdrew my retirement papers."

"I wanted to do it on my time."

What a crock of shit.

The election Sheppard was referring to was that of Rochester Mayor.

In September, Rochester City Council President Lovely Warren won the Democratic primary, beating Rochester Mayor Thomas Richards.

It was no secret that Richards was perhaps Sheppard's biggest, if not only cheerleader.

It's no secret that Warren was not.

And so, after Warren won the primary, Sheppard knew that he did not have a future under a Warren administration.

Which is why Sheppard turned in his retirement papers in October.

The tensions between Warren and Sheppard were there all along.

The final straw seems to be a request by Warren and Rochester City Councilman Adam McFadden, the chair of Public Safety, to Sheppard, asking that he deploy an RPD Mobile Command unit to the Chili Avenue, Salina Street area, after a string of shootings, including a recent one where an 11-year old was shot along with two adults in front of a Chili Avenue laundromat.
Rochester, NY Police Chief James Sheppard,
with Mayor Thomas Richards.
"The White man's puppet."
How many minorities in Rochester viewed James Sheppard.

Sheppard ignored that request.

And on Wednesday morning, just as he had done countless times since being appointed Chief in 2010, Sheppard did two things.

He failed to be a man, and a leader, by refusing to take accountability and tell the truth.

And he lied to Rochester's Corporate-America run mainstream news media, by standing at the podium and saying that his "retirement" had nothing to do with the election.

Of course it did.

It had EVERYTHING to do with the election.

Sheppard may have fooled Rochester's lamestream news media, but those who who know Sheppard's m.o.., like myself, saw right through his load of crap.

In fact, I wasn't surprised at all.

That little man I saw b.s.'ing reporters, is the same coward, and failure of a man who was never fit to lead a police force.

You see, a true leader has LEADERSHIP skills.

Something Sheppard NEVER had.

A true leader has INTEGRITY.

Something Shepoard NEVER had.

A true leader has RESPECT.

Something Sheppard NEVER had.

A true leader is not a PUPPET.

Like Sheppard was.

As a black man, Rochester Police Chief James Sheppard will be remembered as a Chief who condoned and actually encouraged his disproportionately white police force, to racially profile, and abuse African-Americans and Latinos.

Like he did when Rochester Police officers Anthony Liberatore, Joseph Ferrigno, and Mitchell Stewart II pepper sprayed and beat Benny Warr, a wheelchair confined, one-legged amputee who was waiting for the bus at the intersection of Jefferson Ave. and Bartlett St.

The officers claimed that Warr disobeyed their order for him to move, even though he was in his motorized wheelchair, on a public sidewalk, waiting for the bus.

RPD Chief James Sheppard supported his officers' actions.

No surprise really, since the officers were actually enacting Sheppard's "Operation Zero Tolerance", where innocent citizens, including handicapped ones, are constantly subjected to illegal, unconstitutional stops, searches, seizures, and assaults.

As a black man, Rochester Police Chief James Sheppard will be remembered as a Chief who justified the beating of Brenda Hardaway, a pregnant African-American woman who was driven stomach first into a wooden porch railing post, punched in the head, and thrown to the ground by a white Rochester Police officer, Lucas Krull.

As Chief, James Sheppard will be remembered as a Chief who approved, and justified of RPD officer Mario Masic violating Emily Good's first Amendnent right, when he arrested her after she videotaped Masic conducting a factually profiled traffic stop of a black motorist.

But again, for those who know Sheppard, it's no surprise, coming from a coward.

A coward who called the modern-day firing squad execution of Israel "Izzy" Andino, a mentally-ill young man, shot by 7 Rochester Police officers, justified, before the investigation had even begun.

And Shame on Rochester, NY's lame stream news media for lauding Sheppard as some sort of hero, when he was nothing more than a failure!

Good riddance Chief Sheppard!

Rochester, NY Police officer Jeffrey Nobles Tells Woman "Get the fuck off the bus you cunt!", Then Pulls her Off Bus by her Hair

By Davy V.
Rochester, NY Police officer Jeffrey Nobles
threatening to arrest woman for video recording hi
m.

One day last September, Rochester, NY Police officer Jeffrey Nobles saw Sherry Findley and her friend standing at a bus stop in front of a Dunkin' Donuts on Monroe Avenue.

"He walked up to us and asked us where we were heading and said 'Would you like a ride home because you look cold', said Findley.

"We accepted because we saw that he was on duty."

When Findley and her friend got into Nobles' RPD cruiser, it became clear to her and her friend that officer Nobles had an ulterior motive behind offering the two women a ride.

"He told is we were two beautiful ladies, then he proceeded to tell us his life story", said Findley.

"He told us he was recently divorced, then went on to tell us how he was going to move to Florida when he retired." Findley said, adding, "Then he started talking about how the younger Rochester Police officers are corrupt."

"When we arrived at 625 University Avenue, officer Nobles gave us each his card with his personal phone number on it, and told us that if we ever needed anything or just wanted to talk, to give him a call, but we never did."
Card Rochester, NY Police officer Jeffrey Nobles
gave to Sherri Findley.
Nobles also gave Findley's friend a card.

Fast forward to Saturday November 16th, Sherry Findley is waiting for an RTS bus in front of Strong Memorial Hospital.

The bus speeds past Findley's stop.

Findley runs after the bus, then, when she finally catches up to it, she knocks on the door.

When the driver of the bus, John Thomas, opens the door for Findley, she proceeds to tell him that he was supposed to stop at her bus stop, and according to Findley, a verbal altercation ensues, at which time Thomas tells Findley to get off the bus.

"I informed him that I was not getting off the bus", Findley said.

"Another passenger then stepped in and stated that the bus driver was allowing other passengers off on unscheduled stops, and that's why he didn't stop at the stop I was at."

"At this point I went and took a seat on the bus and the bus driver quickly stopped the bus and said he was not going to move until I got off the bus."

"I told him I would wait for the arrival of a supervisor, as I had done nothing wrong, and at this point a University Of Rochester security guard arrived on the scene, followed by two Rochester Police officers."

"That's when Rochester Police officer Jeff Nobles yelled at me 'Get the fuck off the bus', and I said no."

"I told him that I was waiting for the RTS supervisor, and officer Nobles yelled at me 'Get the fuck off the bus you cunt!', I tried to tell him that I did not do anything wrong", said Findley.

"And that's when officer Nobles grabbed my hair, and pulled me by my ponytail off the bus while verbally abusing me with all types of nasty words."

"Officer Nobles slammed me up against his police car, then he lifted up my hoodie and
my tee shirt and said to me 'Look how fucking fat you are you fucking cunt', I then told officer Nobles that my ex-boyfriend, Dave Williams, is a Rochester Police technician, and I told Nobles that what he was doing was wrong and illegal."

"Officer Nobles then told me that no RPD officer would date a white trash cunt like me", said Findley.

Sherri Findley says that at that point, another Rochester Police officer arrived on the scene, and she asked him for Nobles' name.

"Upon arriving at the jail that officer told me officer Nobles' name."

"I was placed in lockup and a friend came and bailed me out", says Findley, who was charged with harassment.

After being bailed put, Findley said she and her friend went to the McDonalds restaurant on Monroe Avenue, where she saw Rochester Police officer Jeffrey Nobles.

"I proceeded to tell him that he was going down for what he did to me", Findley said.

Officer Nobles then told me to shut my fucking mouth."

Findley says officer Jeffrey Nobles then sat in his car, in the McDonalds parking lot, and took down her friend's license plate number, before driving off.

If the name Jeffrey Nobles sounds familiar, it should.

This is not the first time I have written about an incident involving Rochester Police officer Jeffrey Nobles and a female citizen.

On August 10, 2013, Nobles threatened to arrest a Rochester woman who was video recording him arresting her fiancée, and a Rochester firefighter, after she called police when a group of youth, including at least one believed to be armed with a gun, threatened her neighbors.

In the video below Rochester a Police officer Jeffrey Nobles yells at the woman, "You can videotape all you want, but you're going to leave or you're going to jail!"

Note: After several attempts contacting RTS to obtain possible video surveillance footage from the bus, they never returned my calls and messages.

Whether you reside in Rochester, NY or not, call Rochester, NY Police Chief James Sheppard, Mayor Thomas Richards, and Mayor-Elect Lovely Warren, and let them know how you feel about Rochester, NY Police officers calling women "Cunt", and violating their oath to protect and serve!

Rochester, NY Police Homicide Investigator David Simpson Helps Elderly Woman Cross Busy Intersection

By Davy V.

As an activist, writer and blogger exposing police misconduct, and corruption, I don't often get to see, much less write about, a law enforcement officer going out of their way to make a positive difference in someone's life.

On Wednesday afternoon, I got to witness such an act of kindness.

Minutes after grabbing lunch on State Street, near Kodak, I saw something I have never seen before.

A member of the Rochester, NY Police department stopping his official vehicle in traffic, getting out, and helping an elderly woman cross one of Rochester's busiest intersections.

Here's what happened.

As I was eating at DiPisa Subs, Rochester Police homicide investigator David Simpson came in and grabbed lunch to go.

When I finished eating and went to my car, I saw Simpson, who left before I did, pull his unmarked Chevy Impala over, at the intersection of State and Brown Streets, and turn on his flashing headlights and siren horn.

Investigator Simpson then exited his vehicle, walked over to an elderly African-American woman who was pushing a shopping cart, and helped her cross the street.

RPD investigator Simpson could have done what most of us do everyday, drive right by an elderly or down and out person, without even thinking that perhaps that person could use some assistance.

Investigator Simpdon didn't have to stop.

He could have kept driving.

But he didn't.

And for that, I thank him, and give him two thumbs up!

Diabetic Man Suffers Multiple Facial Fractures after he is Beaten Unconscious by Rochester, NY Police officers

By Davy V.
Eric Etenberg at Hospital

Eric Etenberg still can't believe what Rochester, NY Police officers Christopher Schreier, IBM # 2233, and another unidentified officer did to him on his own property.

Saturday night, around 11:30 pm, attempting to help a close friend who had been sexually assaulted, obtain a police report, Etenberg called 911 and asked for officers to respond to his Highland Avenue home.

"As soon as they arrived, you could tell that they were really agitated," said Etenberg.

According to Etenberg, who was standing in his garage with the two officers, and his fiancée, after seeing that officer Schreier and the second RPD officer refused to take a report, Etenberg asked the officers to leave his property.

That's when Etenberg says officer Schreier and his partner became enraged, began yelling at him, then grabbed him, throwing him on the cement floor of his garage.

"The officers jumped on top of Eric and began punching him in the face and head with closed fists," Eric's fiancée explained to me as we stood inside the garage, as she and Eric pointed out the dried blood on the cement floor.

"They were both punching me, and after a while I just blacked out," said Eric.

Etenberg's fiancée then showed me how the officers dragged Eric about 50 feet to the curb, which still has dried blood on it as you can see in the photo to the right.

Eric Etenberg's fiancée says as the officers were beating him, Eric's father arrived at the home, and officer Schreier and the second officer taunted the older Etenberg.

Eric Etenberg's blood on his garage floor.
"They dared him to step in as they were beating him, " said the fiancée, whose name I have decided not to publish for her fear of retaliation by Rochester Police.

Etenberg's blood still remains on Highland Ave. curb
Eric, barely able to talk because of the injuries to his face, then showed me more blood, which by now had seeped into the pavement on Highland Avenue.

"Imagine if during the bearing they gave me, they had ripped out my insulin needle," said Etenberg who is a diabetic and has to wear an insulin pump.

Etenberg was rushed to Strong Memorial Hospital by ambulance, lights and siren on, where he was treated for injuries which include the following fractures to his face:

Dried blood on Highland Avenue.
Maxillary sinus fracture.

Fracture of the lateral wall of orbit.

Eric Etenberg's insulin pump.
Fracture of inferior orbital wall.

Zygomatic fracture.

Corneal abrasion.

Head contusions.

Etenberg said he has to meet with a team of doctors who will plan reconstructive surgery.

After the vicious beating, Rochester Police officer Christopher Schrieer charged Etenberg with 2nd degree aggravated harassment, and resisting arrest.

For the past 18-plus years, I have been exposing the Rochester, NY Police department's long history of misconduct, abuse, corruption, and in some cases even murder of innocent citizens.

For the last year, I have been working on my book, which will chronicle the Rochester, NY Police department's history of abuse and corruption for the past 50-plus years,.

My book is nearing completion.

Why is Rochester, NY City Council President, and Mayoral Candidate Lovely Warren "Following" an Individual who has been Stalking me and My Children?

Davy V.
Rochester, NY City Council President
and Mayoral Candidate Lovely Warren

Why is Rochester, NY City Council President Lovely Warren, who is well on her way to becoming Rochester's first woman Mayor, be "following" a disturbed individual on Twitter, named Justin Bainter, who has been stalking me and my minor children?

Since at least early February of this year, Justin Bainter, who claims to be friends with Rochester, NY Police officers, has been completely obsessed with me and my work exposing police misconduct and corruption, mostly on behalf of the Rochester, NY Police department.

It all seemed to have started after I wrote a series of posts titled "Rochester, NY Taxpayer Dollars at Work".

The posts focused on putting a spotlight on something taxpayers don't get to see, how their taxpayer dollars are misused by Rochester, NY Police officers.

The first few pieces I wrote, focused on a select group of RPD officers hanging out, sometimes for several hours at a time, at a Mobil gas station located on the corner of Culver Rd. and University Ave. on Rochester's east side.

Justin Bainter thanks Lovely Warren
for following him on Twitter.
Well, it turns out that Justin Bainter works as a manager, for Malcho's, which not only owns the Mobil gas station, but also owns at least one more, located at 619 Monroe Ave., where Bainter works.

Soon after my posts, I began receiving disturbing emails and messages on social media sites like Facebook and Copblock.org, as well as other sites I write for.

Jusin Bainter

Now don't get me wrong, as a strong advocate of free speech, at first Bainter's comments, were nothing more than that, his right to express his disagreement with my work, and his right to express his obvious "pro-police" stance, and that was fine with me.

In fact I welcome people expressing their points of view, even if they disagree with what I say.

If nothing else, it shows me that my work is having its intended effect, which in part is to create awareness, and in turn start a dialogue, get people thinking, and get them involved, regardless of their stance.

However, Bainter's behavior, and actions, quickly took a disturbing turn.

In early May, as I was getting ready to cross the street to pick up my children from their elementary school, Justin Bainter, driving his navy blue Chevy S-10 blazer, accelerated, almost hitting me, while yelling loud screams out of his driver's window.

I proceeded to get my children, thinking that Bainter had kept going.

He hadn't.

Bainter was parked across the street from the school, watching me walk my children to the car, before he sped off.

Then, on May 10, 2013, Justin Bainter posted the comment on the right, on Copblock.org.

In the weeks and months that followed, Justin Bainter continues to show that he is obsessed with me, and my children.

Not only has Justin Bainter shown that he simply can't control himself or his actions, posting photos of my children on social media, but he has continued to show up at my children's school, and then posts comments on sites such as twitter, saying he will continue to do so.

Just last week, Bainter posted a disturbing photo of my father, who committed suicide in 1993, with the caption "Davy V's coward ass bitch Father that blew his own head off rather then live life with Davy as a son!"

Bainter then posted several more photos of my children, and even a photo of my mother, who has dementia.

Despite Justin Bainter continuing to post disturbing comments and photos of my family, there's something else which is equally, if not more disturbing.

The fact that it seems as though the Rochester, NY Police department is enabling Justin Bainter.

Let me explain.

Even though for the past 18-plus years I have been a very outspoken critic of the Rochester, NY Police department, there were a few members of the RPD who I felt I could trust.

Members such as Rochester, NY Police Lieutenant Jeremy Lindauer, who in the past, told me not to hesitate to contact him should I have any issue.

Well, since Justin Bainter started his sick obsession with me and my children, I have attempted to reach out to Lt. Lindauer at least a half a dozen times.

RPD Lt. Lindauer has never returned my calls, despite my leaving him detailed messages describing the situation involving Bainter.

On several occasions, since May, I have contacted the Rochester City School District, who were first informed of Justin Bainter's behavior, by the principal of my children's school.

After the first time Justin Bainter parked in front of the school and watched as I walked with my children to the car, the principal assured me that she had spoken with the district, and that they would be sending a security team out to monitor the situation in case Bainter showed up again,

No one ever came out.

In fact, just last week, after I contacted Ms. Lori Baldwin, Security Director for the Rochester City School District, Ms. Baldwin admitted to me that she never sent a team out, despite her telling the principal she would.

"Mr. Vara, I only have two security teams, and they were tied up on another matter, and they couldn't make it out," Baldwin said.

Baldwin, a former member of the Rochester Police department, then asked me some information about Bainter, and told me she would be in touch with the school principal.

A couple of days later, the principal told me that the district finally sent a team out who did a "sweep" of the school.

The principal also told me she conducted a "lockdown drill", with the students.

After Justin Bainter posted more photos of my children online, I once again called Ms. Baldwin.

Unable to reach her, I spoke with "Simone" who after explaining the entire situation to her, asked me, "So what do you want us to do about it?"
One of Justin Bainter's early comments

I was speechless.

Simone then told me to contact Rochester Police.

I tried to explain to her that I have tried to do that, but as a result of my work, the Rochester Police has refused to get involved.

Simone then said "Well perhaps you should work on improving your relationship with the department," then hung up on me.

Then, this past Friday, I spoke with Rochester Police Sgt. Mark Mura about Justin Bainter.

I shared with Sgt. Mura not only Bainter's behavior, but also what Bainter has repeatedly bragged about, his affiliation with Rochester Police.

Not only did Sgt. Mura assure me that he didn't know who Justin Bainter was, and that he had never heard of him, but Mura also told me that he would personally direct one of his officers to at the very least write up an incident report documenting Bainter's actions.

Sgt. Mura told me "Davy, I will not treat you any different than I would anyone else, no matter who you are, or what you do."

Mura told me that one of his officers would be contacting me.

No one ever did.

Then, a day after I spoke with RPD Sgt. Mura, Justin Bainter posted a comment on Minority Reporter, saying, "You TRIED to call in a false report yesterday!!!... You spoke with a Sgt. correct?..."

Bainter's comment is proof that he in fact does have some sort of relationship with the Rochester Police department.

How else would Bainter know I spoke with a Sgt.?

Now, one may say, well, his comment may mean that someone from the RPD maybe spoke with him and told him to stop his behavior.

That's not the case.

Wednesday morning, I spoke with RPD Sgt. Mura.

I asked Sgt. Mura had he, or any other RPD officer spoken to Bainter.

Sgt. Mura told me "No."

I then read Bainter's comment to Sgt. Mura, then asked him how would Bainter know about my conversation with him.

Sgt. Mura then hung the phone up on me.

I called and asked for a Lieutenant to call me.

No one ever called me back.

Meanwhile, Justin Bainter continues to exhibit traits of a psychopath.

Unable to control himself and his actions, even sending posting a message, mocking my putting him on notice that if he continued to stalk my children, he would be arrested.

As you can see in the screenshots to the right, Justin Bainter writes "So @DavyVara said I was going  to be arrested today, guess that was a lie, RPD officers got to laugh at #davyv #ROC"

In another twitter message Bainter writes, "It's Monday! And yeah, no cuffs on these hands lol! What a liar you are. I was pulling for you, even held my hands out for it..."

Then, in yet another message, showing he continues to stalk my children at school, Bainter writes, "@DavyVara Did I mention I drove where YOU told me not to also? Just to give them the chance? And well...I'm here, so we see how that went."

But perhaps the best proof that the Rochester, NY Police department is enabling Justin Bainter, is the message below, which he posted on Twitter.

So why would Lovely Warren, who I have openly criticized for her refusal to denounce the Rochester, NY Police department's long history of racial profiling, abusing, and in some cases even murdering unarmed, innocent African-Americans and Latinos, be following Justin Bainter?

Does Warren condone Bainter's disturbing behavior, especially stalking my children at their elementary school?

Is the Rochester, NY Police Department Enabling an Individual who has been Stalking me and My Children?

By Davy V.
Jusin Bainter

Since at least early February of this year, an individual named Justin Bainter, who claims to be friends with Rochester, NY Police officers, has been completely obsessed with me and my work exposing police misconduct and corruption, mostly on behalf of the Rochester, NY Police department.

Bainter was parked across the street from the school, watching me walk my children to the car, before he sped off.

Then, on May 10, 2013, Justin Bainter posted the comment on the right, on Copblock.org.

Especially disturbing, and indicative of Justin Bainter's behavior, is the last sentence, which in part reads, "Davy... get used to seeing me over there by the school, now I know where to find you..."
